Trip to Foster Falls this Saturday, June 7

Join us this Saturday, June 7th, for our club trip to Foster Falls, TN. Foster Falls boasts some of the best sport climbing the South has to offer. With the steep and technical nature of much of the cliff line, you’ll have no problem finding plenty of routes on which to get your pump on. Also as you might have guessed, Fosters has a scenic waterfall and natural pool that provides a nice spot to jump in and cool off after a hot day if you so desire.

We will be carpooling from the Marietta Park and Ride and leaving at 7:30am. Be sure to get there a few minutes early so you don’t get left behind. Please see the link for park and ride location. http://maps.google.com/?q=33.941016,-84.527773+%28Marietta+Park+and+Ride%29

Directions to crag:
Take I-75 North to Chattanooga. Then get onto I-24 and head west past Nickajack Lake and get off at exit 155 (about 20 miles). Head north on TN-28 following the signs to the town of Jasper. Take the US-41 N/US-64 W/US-72 W ramp to Jasper and turn left. In 0.7 miles turn right on Betsy Pack Drive, then continue for 1.2 miles and turn left where US-41 splits off. The entrance to Foster Falls is on the left about 7.5 miles down the road.

Hope to see everyone there!
